Meetng with Broadland Council Training services
Our horses (La Belle Epine/Top Tato) and grooms (Leanne Nicholls/Rosie Barwick) were choosen to attend a meeting with the External verifier near Norwich. They rode infront of a group of assesors both girls were excited to have been choosen and to have the oppertnity to ride.
They spent the week ahead of the show ensuring the horses were at thier absolute best they practised riding the selected horses, they were clipped and trimmed within an inch of thier lives!!!
The girls arrived early that morning to start washing and plainting they were prepared to travel on time and left the yard to go to the meeting. Amy woolcott also attended to help prepare the horses for the girls and ensure that the lorry and travel equipment was ready.
On arrival the grooms made sure the horses were relaxed. They were polite to everyone at the yard and was ready on time for there lesson.
The grooms proved themselves to be outstanding grooms and riders having the horses turned out immaculatly and riding up to the standard required.
As the yard owner I was very proud to take these girls out the effort they put into making sure the horses were looking and feeling thier best was second to none.
WELL DONE!
Comment from Sarah Abbs - BCTS Internal Verifier
"Thank you Tori, you should be proud of your girls. They turned their horses out imaculately and their conduct was exemplary."
Arena UK Festival of Showjumping 2011
We were all prepared for a wonderful week of showjumping at Arena UK!
We arrived on the tuesday and had to jump in rain and storms all three horses Top Tato, La Belle Epine and Galway brogan jumped there socks off it was an interesting show for Brogan his first big event and we are very pleased to say he took everything in his stride even when the umbrellas came out!!! All horses jumped very good clears in the first phase but all were unlucky to have 4 faults in the speed section.

La Belle Epine
On the return from the show I had a little accident and broke my foot so unfortunatly I could not ride for the rest of the show but the horses still could thanks to Sam Ward who rode my horses for me, Brogan once again done us proud by jumping double clear and was just out of qualifying by one place which was very unfortunate.
I would like to thank all my grooms Leanne Nicholls, Rosie Barwick and Amy Woolcott and my mum for supporting me and making sure my horses were prepared and looked fab also a very big Thank you to Sam Ward for making the time to jump my horses so they did not miss out!
Well Done to all competitors and grooms at the show some amazing horses and talented horses.
BRING ON Arena Uk Showjumping Festival 2012!!!
